Where have we been?

You’ve been looking all over for us. You’ve searched high. You’ve searched low. You’ve searched up. You’ve searched down. But where were we? Nowhere to be found.
Until now.
Sorry for the long absence, folks. We’ve been recklessly busy the last few months, and while we always had the blog in the back of our minds, we’ve never been able to sit down and get some stories hammered out.
Until now.
Over the next couple of days, we’ll try our darnedest to get you caught up on where we’ve been this summer/fall. I think when we last left you, Alex had just celebrated his first birthday as well as some other firsts. As you can guess, we’ve got more firsts to pile on top of those other firsts, for a virtual fist full of firsts.
So sit back and relax, and maybe sift through the archives a bit to get caught up on where we’ve been. Hopefully we’ll have a couple of stories for you this week to get you caught up.

As the mother of a 2 1/2 year old boy, I can think of a million ways a kid’s face gets to looking like that. Although I hope it wasn’t too awful for Alex or too traumatic for mom and dad.
Actually, the scrapes weren’t too bad. You probably can’t see the stitches very well to the side of his right eye. Those were a little more traumatic. Luckily the accident happened late enough in the evening that he cried himself to sleep half way through them. I’ll have a more detailed story here soon.
Which reminds me, I’m supposed to be getting you all caught up on things. I guess I should have waited until after our trip to Vancouver to pop back in. Oh well, hopefully I’ll have something up later this evening.
