Wow, I just noticed that it has been nearly a month since we last gave you all an update. Really, we had planned so much more for the site, but the last few weeks have been quite hectic. Mommy has been out of town a bit for work and Daddy has been trying to look like he knows what he’s doing when it comes taking care of a baby. These are all just excuses though, and we really do have a lot of stuff that we want to tell you about. Hopefully we can post some of it here in the near future.
Today we just want to show you the cool performance that Alex put on for us a couple of weeks ago. At the time we thought, wow, he’s growing a lot faster than we ever would have expected. But, it turns out he didn’t know what he was doing and so far this is only instance of any such performance. That’s probably a good thing, since we’re not quite ready for him to grow up so quickly. Besides, you have to learn to crawl before you can walk, right?

The theme to "Chariots of Fire" was playing in my head as I watched. How cute!
What a big boy. All I can say is what everyone said to me (all of which I ignored, so feel free to do the same): Watch out. Once he starts doing that for real, you are in for a whole new ball game.
We have a similar video of Michael at 5 months doing just that. You gotta love the "steping reflex".
