Look at Mommy, She’s getting big!
Daddy April 15th, 2006
Can you believe how big Mommy is getting? We are just three weeks away from the expected due date, and boy is she ready for the baby to get here. It doesn’t help that she has a bit of a cold. As if being pregnant wasn’t miserable enough, the sniffles and coughing aren’t making things any better. But she’s been a real trooper – it helps that she sleeps most of the time that she is home.
We had our second class today to learn how to take care of the baby. Well, actually the first class was to learn how to give birth, but today’s class was the basics of taking care of an infant. Strangely enough, the birthing class was four hours long while the baby care basics class was just two hours. Apparently it is easier to take care of the baby than it is to give birth to it. That’s a relief since the birth only takes one day while the care takes every day after that.
All in all, the class was helpful and we both agree that we are to the point that we are hearing the same stuff for the fourth and fifth time and it is starting to stick. Which can only me are ready for the baby to get here so that we can be overwhelmed by all of the things that we thought we knew but really didn’t. Wish us luck!
Happy Easter and keep coming back! We’ll do our best to keep you updated.
